If I am expecting a refund from the Bursar's Office, when will I receive it?
The Bursar's Office begins the refund process 2 to 3 weeks after classes begin each semester. Contact the Bursar's Office for Direct Deposit Forms for the quickest refund.
If you will need funds to pay for "off-campus" expenses before the refund period, such as rent for an apartment, plan ahead. You will need to pay those expenses on your own. Students can view their Bursar's account on-line for the most updated information at www.niu.edu/bursar/.
