Scholarship Check Policy:
Scholarship checks are applied according to the donor’s instruction. In the event the donor has not provided specific instructions as to what semester the award is to be applied, ALL scholarship checks will be applied to the current academic year (split equally between the fall and spring semester).
Where to send scholarship checks:
- Make sure before you mail your check to sign it if the check is made payable to you and NIU. .
- You should include a copy of the scholarship letter you received, or make sure that you include your name and student Z-ID so we can apply the check amount to the correct student.
